Korean Society of Pediatric Rehabilitation and Developmental Medicine (KSPRDM) is the academic association of professionals working with children with disability throughout Korea.
“Pediatric Rehabilitation Research Meeting” was established in 2002, on the basis of the meeting by 11 people with an interest in pediatric rehabilitation since 2000. It was renamed to the Korean Society of Pediatric Rehabilitation and Developmental Medicine (KSPRDM) in 2005. Academic activities developed to education courses since 2007, and the first conference was held in 2008. Nowadays, we hold annual conferences and biannual educational courses every year.
KSPRDM has played a central role not only in the field of clinical and academic area of pediatric rehabilitation, but also in the leadership of policies regarding the disabled children in Korea.
